Auditions are set for Monday, Feb. 4 and Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the spring presentation of Willy Wonka by the JCC's Children, Youth and Camping Department.
Hey, Kids! Be cool and spend your Saturday night at the coolest place - the JCC! On Saturday, Feb. 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., "Mad Science Madness" will take over the center with cool and crazy experiments for children ages 3 through 12.
Kids in 4th through 8th grades are invited to come to the JCC for a "Late Night Bowling" party and overnight stay from Sunday, Feb. 17 to Monday, Feb. 18.
School may be closed for Presidents Day on Feb. 18, but the JCC will be the place to be for kids in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Teens looking forward to selecting colleges will be interested in this trip: JET (Jewish Experiences for Teens) is planning its "College Caravan" to Kenyon College, Miami University and Indiana University, on Feb. 17-19.
KIO BBYO's Regional Convention 2007 entitled "At the Beginning" enabled Columbus to once again shine on the national BBYO and regional Kentucky-Indiana-Ohio teen scenes.
Have a bit of artistic flair that you would like to express? Then you'll be interested to know that the JCC Maccabi ArtsFest will be taking place at the JCC of Northern Virginia in Fairfax, Va., from July 27 to Aug. 1, and our JCC will be sending a delegation of teen artists.
The JCC is offering guitar lessons, taught by Steven Loeb, on Tuesdays now through March 11. Classes, which are by appointment and last for 30 minutes, are open to children (at least in the second grade) through adults.
