Nominations Now Open for Business Arts Partnership Awards

Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Business Arts Partnership Awards will honor the central Ohio business community for its active support of central Ohio's artists and arts organizations.

Registration is now open for the 2008 Business Arts Partnership Awards, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 at COSI Columbus. To attend, click here.

Any nonprofit arts organization, artist or business that has an arts affiliation can nominate businesses that have supported the organization or the larger arts community for this year's awards. The deadline to nominate is Friday, February 22. Click here to nominate a business.

GCAC informs each nominated company of their nomination - including the name of the organization that nominated them. At the awards event, one small business (up to 50 employees), one medium sized business (51-500 employees), and one large business (more than 500 employees) will win an original piece of artwork by a local artist for their commitment to the arts in Columbus.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for this year’s event, as are corporate tables. For more information about sponsoring the 2008 Business Arts Partnership Awards, contact Emily Swartzlander at eswartzlander@gcac.org. All proceeds from the 2008 Business Arts Partnership Awards will go to GCAC’s educational programming for children.

GCAC thanks our media sponsor, Time Warner Cable, for its support of the 2008 event.
