Great Day! Tours
Sept. 25, Cleveland
Ohio’s largest tour operator, Great Day! hosts this annual show for group leaders from Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York. Columbus representatives met with more than 260 group leaders.
Virginia Motorcoach Association Convention
Sept. 27-30, Lancaster, Pa.
This annual marketplace attracts professional tour planners and group leaders from the Virigina area. Columbus secured 26 qualified leads for future business.
Group Publishing Annual Church Volunteer National Conference
Sept. 30-Oct. 2, Loveland, Colo.
Experience Columbus staff attended the 2009 event to build attendance for the 2010 show in Columbus. Attendance of 1,500 is expected.
International Economic Development Council
Oct. 4-7, Reno, Nev.
Experience Columbus staff attended the 2009 event to build attendance for the 2010 show in Columbus. Attendance of 1,000 is expected.
Rejuvenate Marketplace
Oct 27-30, Birmingham, Ala.
Rejuvenate Marketplace is an opportunity for faith-based meeting professionals to connect with suppliers. Experience Columbus had a total of 55 appointments, resulting in 23 requests for proposals, representing 127,134 room nights.
D.C. Luncheon program
Oct. 28, Washington, D.C.
At its second D.C. Luncheon, Experience Columbus hosted 10 clients, including three from national association management firms and two from the Marriott International’s national sales team. Franklin County Commissioner Paula Brooks was the featured speaker, praising Columbus as an ideal and affordable host city for conventions and meetings.
